Membership and other gifts

Membership allows you to stand up and be counted as someone who believes that we can build a community that does not tolerate sexual assault. Your tax deductible financial contribution, no matter the amount, makes you a member of CrossRoads and entitles you to periodic newsletters and invitations to special events.

Make a Sundae - Make a Difference

Holiday wreath sale

Plan to buy your holiday greenery from us for December decorating - fresh wreaths and garlands from the North Carolina mountains. Order forms (PDF) for 2008 are available, so you can print several and share them with friends. Printed forms can be obtained by calling the office at 336-228-0813. All profit from sales goes to help support the work of CrossRoads.

Donations of items are always welcome including snacks, drinks, art supplies, or toys for the Children's Advocacy Center; office supplies and equipment; books, videos, and other resources for the library; magazine subscriptions, videos, quiet toys, or books for all ages for use in the waiting room.

Crisis Intervention Volunteer

CrossRoads provides the training required in order to be eligible to be on call for our 24-hour crisis line. Your role is as a crisis intervention support person and advocate for anyone calling the line. You can choose to be on call daytime, evenings, and/or weekends, whenever you are available.

Community Education Volunteer

CrossRoads provides the training required in order to be eligible to present educational curriculums to area middle and high school students. Ideal if you have any free time during the day.

Member of the Board of Directors

Volunteers who make up the Board are responsible for overseeing the affairs of the agency. Responsibilities include long-range planning, financial oversight, budgeting, fundraising and public relations, and policy making.

Special Projects Volunteer

There are always things to be done around the office and in various areas such as publicity, volunteer recruitment, fundraising, and more. If you have any special skills or just some free time that you would like to share, please let us know.

Bilingual volunteer

We are in special need of bilingual volunteers to assist victims and their families. If you speak both Spanish and English and would like to help, please give us a call.
